MA Interactive Media students showcase their degree show Future Proof on the 4th of September at the London College of Communication. Future Proof anticipates a technological tomorrow whilst embracing the the opportunities of today. They invite you to come and be inspired. Projects range from iPhone apps to interactive installations that teach you how to dance, an educational exhibit on tea and an interactive trampoline. Join us in imagining the future of interactive media, to participate and play, entrance is free!

The first iteration of the MA was back in 1993 - making it the longest running course of its kind in Europe. Since then the world of interactive media has undergone multiple transformations and so indeed has the course. Starting each year in October, it culminates with the degree show the following September. Currently the course focuses on the following key topics: usability and user-centred design, human-computer interaction theory, sustainability, interactive narrative, and physical computing. Our students come from a broad spectrum of international backgrounds, and the course is designed to challenge their existing skills and knowledge. Collaborative work, in groups that change with each new project, is fundamental to the approach of the Interactive Media MA. Students have the opportunity to achieve significant expertise in a variety of roles: technical development, project management, usability testing, interaction and interface design.
